Richard Margison: Richard Margison, a distinguished Canadian tenor, is renowned for his powerful voice and compelling stage presence. With a career spanning several decades, Margison has graced the world's most prestigious opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, and La Scala. Known for his versatility, he has performed a wide repertoire, from the heroic roles of Verdi and Puccini to contemporary works, earning acclaim for his interpretations of complex characters. His commitment to the art form extends beyond performance, as he actively mentors young singers and contributes to the development of opera in Canada through his involvement in various educational and cultural initiatives.
Lauren Margison: Lauren Margison, an emerging Canadian soprano, has quickly made a name for herself with her radiant voice and expressive musicality. The daughter of renowned tenor Richard Margison, Lauren has followed in her father's footsteps while carving out her own unique path in the opera world. Trained at some of the finest institutions, including the University of Toronto and the Glenn Gould School, she has already garnered praise for her performances in both classical and contemporary opera. Lauren's passion for music is evident not only in her performances but also in her dedication to promoting the arts, often collaborating on projects that aim to make opera more accessible to diverse audiences.
