The Inventors Nest

Innovation in arts, entertainment, and technology

The Inventors Nest is the not for profit organization that brings the Redwood Theatre to life.

Founded to preserve and see historic theatres thrive for another 100 years.

The Redwood Building was built in 1914 as a vaudeville theatre, serving a new community developing east of the Don River.

Today, the Redwood includes a theatre, recording facility, cafe, art gallery, performance centre, circus space, innovation lab and music venue.

Something for those in neighbourhood to enjoy.

Our Story

The Inventors Nest is an collection of people working to see Toronto flourish as a centre for arts and innovation

Inventors are at the core of our community, where entrepreneurship, vision, and awareness drive our future. The Redwood Theatre is the first of hopefully many projects that can preserve a bit of Toronto's rich history, as a space to support local artists and innovators.

Serving local, thinking global!
