About the Event

Join in for this special Mother's Day event hosted by Toronto's Blues Master Brian Blain. Joined by Ken Whiteley and Rick Taylor have each been playing the blues for more than 50 years. These are master musicians of the Canadian blues and roots music scene. Three "Wise Men of the Blues"

In the 70s, Rick was a regular at many folk festivals and clubs then moved to BC for 23 years but he's back now and burning up stages in Southern Ontario.  Ken Whiteley is one of Canada’s most respected “roots” musicians - a brilliant multi-instrumentalist and spirited entertainer.  Brian Blain has released 5 CDs but is best known for his Campfire Jams at various venues over the years, bringing together the cream of the crop of blues musicians, swapping songs and playing along and that's what will be happening again at the Mother's Day Matinee.
