About the event
Leader John Fraser Findlay (guitar/vocals) & Jay Speziale (bass/vocals), both die-hard Little Feat fans since early youth, have special connections to the band: In 1997, Jay recorded a CD with Little Feats drummer Ritchie Hayward in Toronto & more recently John invited Bill Payne, Feats co-founder & keyboard player to play on his IN2 The Spirit instrumental jazz & blues CD (2013).
The band have, in their own words, 'worked incredibly hard' on the deets, lifting cuts off of studio and live albums, including Waiting For Columbus & Neon Park. With five singers in the band including Megan Hawley, the band covers the Feats repertoire as far back as the early 70's into the 80's Craig Fuller 'Let It Roll' hit era and also the later 90's when Shawn Murphy lent her roadhouse pipes and sass to the band.
