About the event
Toronto’s own Pukka Orchestra were a defining force in the city’s early ’80s new wave and post-punk scene. Known for sharp songwriting, driving rhythms, and cult favourites like Listen to the Radio and Cherry Beach Express, they captured the restless energy of Queen Street West at its peak.
After earning national attention and a devoted following, the band’s story took unexpected turns — including a long hiatus and the loss of frontman Graeme Williamson. Now re-energized and creating new work, Pukka Orchestra return with fresh material alongside the songs that built their reputation.
