Meet the Performers:
Jeremy Ledbetter
Jeremy Ledbetter is a dynamic Canadian pianist, composer, and producer renowned for his genre-blending approach, which fuses jazz with global musical traditions. Initially trained in classical piano, he studied jazz performance in Toronto before embarking on over a decade of international travel, collaborating with artists from Trinidad, Cuba, Brazil, and Venezuela. Ledbetter is the creative force behind the Caribbean jazz ensemble CaneFire and has served as the musical director for calypso legend David Rudder for over 20 years. His Jeremy Ledbetter Trio, featuring bassist Rich Brown and drummer Larnell Lewis, released the acclaimed album Gravity in 2025, which won a Juno Award for Global Album of the Year.
Ewen Farncombe
