About The Toronto Mass Choir:


Since its inception in 1988, the Toronto Mass Choir (TMC) has been a dynamic force in the Canadian gospel music scene. Founded by Karen and Oswald Burke, the choir aims to provide a platform for gospel music in Canada, reflecting the diverse multicultural makeup of the country.Under the direction of Karen Burke, TMC blends traditional gospel music with contemporary styles, creating a unique and vibrant sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.

The choir has released several albums, each showcasing the choir’s musical versatility and deep-rooted faith. In 2002, TMC's "Instrument of Praise"album won the Canada’s Juno Award for Contemporary/Gospel Music Album of the Year. On May 4th, 2024,
