About the event
Alexander Hajek is a Toronto-based Canadian baritone known for his powerful Verdi repertoire, commanding stage presence, and dynamic approach to making opera accessible to wider audiences. A graduate of The Juilliard School, the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio, and Dresden’s Semperoper Junges Ensemble, Hajek has performed internationally across Europe and North America. He is also a co-producer of Opera Revue, the acclaimed Toronto company that blends opera with cabaret, comedy, and contemporary culture. Critics have praised his voice as “creamy, romantic, and Italianate,” while audiences know him for bringing both intensity and wit to the stage.
