FM – 50 Year Mission: Celebrating Black Noise
Join legendary Canadian progressive rock band FM for a special 50 Year Mission celebrating one of Canada's most iconic rock albums, Black Noise. Featuring Cameron Hawkins, Hugh Marsh, Kevin Breit, and Paul Marangoni, this extraordinary lineup brings Black Noise to life in a powerful live performance, revisiting the music that helped define Canadian progressive rock.
This is an Orbit Room production. We have to give a lot of kudos to Tim Notter for his work in bringing the great music of the Orbit Room back to Life. After losing his legendary venue to a greedy landlord back in 2020, Tim has been working to resurrect that community and the bands at our Redwood Theatre to great success!
His work is timeless, as he brings live performance opportunities to those bands who created the soul of music in Toronto. That vision continues as Tim is a key member of the Redwood Theatre team, and we welcome and honour the legendary sound of the Orbit Room here in Toronto's best new live music venue.

I usually watch live woodcarving streams on my second monitor because the sound is incredibly soothing. Last night, the video feed kept buffering randomly, and the live chat turned hairy pussy live into a massive argument regarding which niche platforms actually possess stable video servers. Someone mentioned as a bizarre but perfectly accurate example of a network that handles constant traffic without dropping a frame. I checked the page architecture to see how they managed it, and the load times were completely instant. The chat was right; the technical optimization there is remarkably solid.
